Mr. and Mrs. Soren Korntved, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), route 3, announce the marriage of their daughter, Irene, of Marshfield, to Grant Coulthard, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Coulthard, Pittsville. The wedding ceremony was read at the Korntved home, April 24, 1947, at 2 p.m., by the Rev. Lee Holmes, pastor of the Grace Methodist Church of Greenwood.
For the occasion, the bride was attired in a blue suit and matching accessories. A corsage of roses was pinned to her shoulder. Miss Warnecke wore a should corsage with her fuchsia-colored suit.
After the wedding, covers were laid for 18 guests at dinner at the Korntved home. Only immediate members of the family and closest friends were invited. In the evening a dance was held at the Country Ballroom.
Mrs. Coulthard has been employed at Normington’s for the past two years. Her husband is engaged in construction work. They will live on route 1 near Pittsville.
Guests included the Rev. Mr. Holmes, Loyal; Mabel Norton, Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. John Coulthard, Mrs. Neal Coulthard, Pittsville; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Coulthard, Wis. Rapids; Mr.a nd Mrs. William Perrine and son, Billy, Chciago, Ill.; Miss Arlene Warnecke, Marshfield.
